STATUS OF HUMAN RESOURCE VARIABLES FOR EFFECTIVE IMPLEMENTATION OF BUSINESS EDUCATION PROGRAMME IN COLLEGES OF EDUCATION IN BORNO STATE

ABSTRACT

This research project aims to assess the status of human resource variables for the effective implementation of the business education program in colleges of education in Borno State. Human resources play a critical role in the successful delivery of educational programs, including business education. It is essential to evaluate the status of human resource variables, such as teacher qualifications, professional development opportunities, workload, and support systems, to ensure the effective implementation of the business education program in colleges of education.

A mixed-methods research design will be employed, combining surveys, interviews, and document analysis to collect data from faculty members, administrators, and relevant stakeholders in colleges of education in Borno State. The research objectives include examining the qualifications and expertise of business education teachers, assessing professional development opportunities available to them, analyzing workload patterns, and evaluating the support systems provided for effective program implementation.

The findings of this research project will contribute to the existing body of knowledge by providing insights into the status of human resource variables for the effective implementation of the business education program in colleges of education in Borno State. The research will assess the qualifications and expertise of business education teachers, including their educational background, specialization, and relevant work experience. It will evaluate the professional development opportunities available to teachers, such as training programs, workshops, conferences, and access to educational resources.
