ABSTRACT

This research project aims to investigate the acquisition of 21st century skills needed for business and technology education graduate empowerment in Delta State. The rapid advancements in technology and the changing demands of the business environment require graduates to possess a diverse set of skills to thrive in the 21st century workplace. It is essential to assess the acquisition of these skills by business and technology education graduates in Delta State, as well as their impact on empowerment and career success.

A mixed-methods research design will be employed, utilizing surveys, interviews, and focus group discussions to collect data from business and technology education graduates, educators, and employers. The research objectives include examining the acquisition of 21st century skills by graduates, exploring the perceived impact of these skills on empowerment, and assessing the alignment of the curriculum with the development of these skills.
