IMPLEMENTATION OF TECHNIQUES FOR MITIGATING DIFFICULTIES ENCOUNTERED BY STUDENTS OF AGRICULTURAL EDUCATION IN PROJECT WRITING IN COLLEGES OF EDUCATION IN SOUTHEAST, NIGERIA.

Abstract:
The successful completion of projects is a crucial requirement for students pursuing agricultural education in Colleges of Education in Southeast, Nigeria. However, students often encounter various difficulties during the project writing process, hampering their ability to produce high-quality research work. This study aims to explore and implement effective techniques to mitigate these difficulties and enhance the project writing experience for agricultural education students.

To achieve this objective, a mixed-methods research approach will be employed. Firstly, a comprehensive literature review will be conducted to identify the common challenges faced by students in agricultural education project writing. These challenges may include limited research skills, inadequate access to resources, poor time management, and difficulties in structuring and organizing their work.

Based on the findings from the literature review, a set of techniques and interventions will be developed to address the identified difficulties. These techniques may include providing targeted training on research methodologies, facilitating access to relevant agricultural education resources, offering guidance on time management strategies, and providing support in structuring and organizing project reports.

The implementation of these techniques will be carried out through a series of workshops, seminars, and mentoring sessions. Participating students will be selected from Colleges of Education in Southeast, Nigeria, using a purposive sampling technique. The impact of the implemented techniques will be evaluated through pre- and post-intervention assessments, surveys, and interviews with the students.

The anticipated outcomes of this study include improved research skills, enhanced access to resources, better time management practices, and increased proficiency in structuring and organizing project reports among students. The findings of this research will contribute to the existing body of knowledge on project writing in agricultural education and provide practical recommendations for educators and policymakers in Southeast, Nigeria, to enhance the quality of education and learning outcomes in this field.
