ABSTRACT

The utilization of software and internet resources for instructional delivery plays a crucial role in enhancing the quality of education in postgraduate business programs. This research project aims to investigate the extent of business educators’ utilization of software and internet resources for instructional delivery in postgraduate programs in Delta State universities, Nigeria.

A mixed-methods research design will be employed, combining quantitative surveys and qualitative interviews. The research objectives include assessing the current utilization of software and internet resources by business educators, exploring the types of software and internet resources employed, identifying the benefits and challenges associated with their usage, and proposing strategies for enhancing their effective utilization.

The findings of this research project will contribute to the existing body of knowledge by providing insights into the utilization of software and internet resources for instructional delivery in postgraduate business programs. The research will assess the current utilization of software and internet resources by business educators, examining the frequency and extent of their usage. It will explore the types of software and internet resources employed, including learning management systems, educational software, online databases, virtual collaboration tools, and multimedia resources. Additionally, the research will identify the benefits and challenges associated with the usage of software and internet resources, such as improved engagement, access to up-to-date information, enhanced multimedia content, potential technical difficulties, limited access to resources, and the need for training and support. Furthermore, the research will propose strategies for enhancing the effective utilization of software and internet resources, such as providing training opportunities for educators, establishing partnerships with software providers and content creators, allocating resources for software acquisition and maintenance, and promoting collaboration among educators for resource sharing.
