Abstract:
This abstract provides a concise overview of a study focusing on quality assurance practices aimed at enhancing teacher productivity in public secondary schools in Ekiti State, Nigeria. The study investigates the current state of quality assurance measures implemented in the educational system, with a specific focus on their impact on teacher productivity.
The aim of this research is to identify and analyze the existing quality assurance practices in public secondary schools in Ekiti State and their influence on teacher productivity. The study employs a mixed-methods approach, combining both qualitative and quantitative research methods to gather comprehensive data.
Qualitative data will be collected through interviews and focus group discussions with relevant stakeholders, including teachers, school administrators, educational policymakers, and quality assurance officers. These interviews will explore the perspectives, experiences, and challenges faced by teachers in relation to quality assurance practices and their impact on productivity.
Quantitative data will be obtained through structured questionnaires distributed to a representative sample of teachers in public secondary schools across Ekiti State. The questionnaires will assess teachers’ perceptions of quality assurance practices, their effectiveness in improving teacher productivity, and the challenges encountered in their implementation.
The collected data will be analyzed using appropriate statistical techniques and thematic analysis. The findings of this study will provide valuable insights into the current state of quality assurance practices in public secondary schools in Ekiti State and their impact on teacher productivity. The results will contribute to the existing body of knowledge and inform educational policymakers, school administrators, and relevant stakeholders in implementing effective strategies to enhance teacher productivity through quality assurance practices.
