A mixed-methods research design will be employed, utilizing surveys, interviews, and classroom observations to collect data from business education instructors and students. The research objectives include identifying the innovative strategies employed in teaching business education courses, examining their effectiveness in promoting student engagement and learning outcomes, understanding the challenges faced in implementing these strategies, and proposing recommendations for improvement.

The findings of this research project will contribute to the existing body of knowledge by providing insights into the innovative strategies for teaching business education courses in public universities in the South-South region of Nigeria. The research will identify specific strategies employed, such as flipped classrooms, project-based learning, case studies, simulations, and technology integration. Additionally, the study will examine the effectiveness of these strategies in promoting student engagement, active learning, critical thinking, and skill development. Furthermore, the research will explore the challenges faced by instructors in implementing these strategies, considering factors such as technological limitations, faculty training, student readiness, and assessment methods.
