THE USAGE OF INFORMATION AND COMMUNICATION TECHNOLOGY AND ONLINE DATABASE FACILITIES BY BUSINESS EDUCATION LECTURERS FOR TEACHING AND RESEARCH
ABSTRACT
This research project aims to investigate the usage of Information and Communication Technology (ICT) and online database facilities by business education lecturers for teaching and research purposes. The study seeks to examine the current state of ICT utilization among business education lecturers, explore the extent to which online database facilities are utilized for teaching and research, identify the benefits and challenges associated with their usage, and propose recommendations for enhancing their effective integration into the educational process.
A mixed-methods research design will be employed, incorporating surveys, interviews, and observation of lecturers’ practices. The research objectives include assessing the current level of ICT usage by business education lecturers, examining the extent of utilization of online database facilities, identifying the perceived benefits and challenges of their usage, and proposing recommendations for effective integration.
