ABSTRACT

This research project aims to examine the opportunities and challenges of distance learning in the new normal era, specifically amid the COVID-19 pandemic. The study seeks to explore the impact of the pandemic on education, assess the effectiveness of distance learning methods and technologies, identify the opportunities presented by distance learning, and address the challenges that educators and students face in this new educational landscape.

A mixed-methods research design will be employed, incorporating surveys, interviews, and data analysis of educational platforms and resources. The research objectives include examining the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on education, evaluating the effectiveness of distance learning methods and technologies, identifying the opportunities presented by distance learning, and addressing the challenges faced by educators and students.

The findings of this research project will contribute to the existing body of knowledge by providing insights into the opportunities and challenges of distance learning in the new normal era.
