Higher education plays a crucial role in shaping the socio-economic development and overall progress of a nation. In Nigeria, ensuring equity and quality in higher education has become a pressing concern due to the country’s large population, diverse demographics, and socio-economic disparities. This abstract provides a critical analysis of the challenges and potential solutions regarding equity and quality in higher education in Nigeria.
This study examines the issue of equity in higher education, focusing on the disparities in access and opportunities among different social groups.
