Abstract:
This abstract provides an overview of the research study that explores the potential of blockchain technology in enhancing the security and accessibility of personal records in Nigeria. With the increasing digitization of personal records and the growing concerns regarding data security and privacy, there is a need for innovative solutions to address these challenges. Blockchain technology, known for its decentralized and immutable nature, has emerged as a promising solution for securing and managing personal records.
The study aims to examine the current landscape of personal record management in Nigeria, identify the existing challenges, and evaluate the potential benefits of implementing blockchain technology in this domain. It will employ a mixed-methods approach, including surveys, interviews, and case studies, to gather data from relevant stakeholders such as government agencies, healthcare providers, educational institutions, and individuals.
The research will analyze the security and privacy vulnerabilities associated with the current centralized systems for personal record management, such as data breaches and unauthorized access.
