THE ADEQUACY OF HUMAN AND MATERIAL RESOURCES FOR TEACHING CORE BUSINESS EDUCATION SKILL COURSES IN ENTREPRENEURIAL CENTRES IN TERTIARY INSTITUTIONS IN SOUTH-SOUTH, NIGERIA.

ABSTRACT

This research project aims to assess the adequacy of human and material resources for teaching core business education skill courses in entrepreneurial centers in tertiary institutions in South-South, Nigeria. Entrepreneurial centers play a crucial role in equipping students with the necessary skills and knowledge to become successful entrepreneurs and contribute to economic development. This study seeks to evaluate the availability and sufficiency of human and material resources in these centers, identify areas of improvement, and propose recommendations for enhancing the quality of business education skill courses.

A mixed-methods research design will be utilized, incorporating surveys, interviews, and document analysis to gather data from stakeholders involved in the management and delivery of core business education skill courses in entrepreneurial centers. The research objectives include assessing the availability and sufficiency of human resources, such as qualified instructors and support staff, as well as the availability and adequacy of material resources, including textbooks, reference materials, computer labs, and other instructional tools. The study will also explore the challenges faced in resource provision and utilization, and gather recommendations from stakeholders for improving resource adequacy and effectiveness.

The findings of this research project will contribute to the existing body of knowledge by providing insights into the adequacy of human and material resources for teaching core business education skill courses in entrepreneurial centers. The research will assess the availability and sufficiency of human resources, including the qualifications and expertise of instructors, teaching workload, and support staff. It will also evaluate the availability and adequacy of material resources, including access to textbooks, reference materials, and technology infrastructure.
