ABSTRACT

This research project focuses on assessing the digital skills acquired by university business education students for employability in Rivers State. The study aims to evaluate the proficiency level and relevance of digital skills among business education students, with a specific focus on their preparedness for the demands of the job market in a digital-driven economy.

A quantitative research design will be employed, utilizing surveys and assessments to gather data. The research objectives include assessing the current level of digital skills among business education students, identifying the specific digital competencies that are crucial for employability, examining the students’ perceptions of the relevance of digital skills in the job market, and providing recommendations for enhancing the acquisition of digital skills by business education students.
