FINTECH-ENABLED WORKING CAPITAL FINANCING STRATEGIES IN THE PHARMACEUTICAL SECTOR.
Abstract:
This abstract provides an overview of the research conducted on fintech-enabled working capital financing strategies in the pharmaceutical sector. The study aimed to explore the role of financial technology (fintech) in addressing working capital challenges faced by pharmaceutical companies and to identify the potential benefits and implications of adopting fintech solutions in this context.
The pharmaceutical sector faces unique working capital challenges due to factors such as long manufacturing cycles, complex supply chains, and regulatory requirements. Inefficient management of working capital can lead to cash flow problems, hinder growth opportunities, and impact the overall financial health of pharmaceutical companies.
Fintech has emerged as a disruptive force in the financial industry, offering innovative solutions to traditional financing methods. By leveraging technologies such as artificial intelligence, blockchain, and data analytics, fintech platforms provide alternative financing options that can enhance working capital management in the pharmaceutical sector.
The research employed a mixed-methods approach, including a comprehensive literature review and interviews with industry experts.
