Abstract:
Coaching interventions play a crucial role in shaping athletes’ motivation and self-confidence, which are vital factors influencing their performance and overall well-being. This abstract provides an overview of recent research investigating the effects of various coaching interventions on athletes’ motivation and self-confidence.

Motivation is a multifaceted construct that drives athletes to initiate and sustain effort towards achieving their goals. Self-confidence, on the other hand, refers to an athlete’s belief in their ability to perform successfully in their sport.
