Abstract:
Job satisfaction is a crucial aspect of employee well-being and organizational success. In the construction industry, where workers face numerous challenges and demanding work environments, enhancing job satisfaction becomes particularly important. This abstract explores the potential of vestibule training as a strategy to improve job satisfaction among construction industry workers in Lagos State, Nigeria.

Vestibule training refers to a simulated work environment where employees receive hands-on training using equipment, tools, and materials similar to those found in their actual workplace. This training approach allows workers to gain practical experience, refine their skills, and increase their confidence in performing job tasks. By implementing vestibule training programs, construction companies in Lagos State can address key factors that influence job satisfaction, such as skill development, workplace safety, and job performance.

The proposed study aims to investigate the impact of vestibule training on job satisfaction among construction industry workers in Lagos State. It will employ a mixed-methods research design, combining quantitative surveys and qualitative interviews. The quantitative survey will gather data on job satisfaction levels before and after the implementation of vestibule training, while the qualitative interviews will provide in-depth insights into workers’ perspectives and experiences.
