The study investigated the readability of Basic Science textbooks used in teaching Junior Secondary School Students in Enugu state, Nigeria. The study adopts an evaluation research design method. Thirty three Basic Science textbooks for JSS 1-3 were purposively selected from sixty recommended Basic Science textbooks.
