ABSTRACT
This research work “The Impact of Internet on secretarial profession” was carried out with the overall aim of finding out the impact of internet on job performance of a secretary.
Some banks in Enugu metropolis was use for the study.  the data collected, through the use of questionnaires, interview and observation were analyzed in tabular forms using sample percentages.
The major findings in this research work are, that banks in Enugu metropolis should work up to this super high way (NET) for it will help to boost their business world, it also assist secretaries of every organization in detecting wrong information and as well answer a constant and a continuous growth of an organization.  Also, if the internet is properly utilized, it will pave way for employment opportunity and as well, eradicate joblessness and unemployment.
Finally, we should recommend that there should be no interference in secretary’s work and that their offices should be well equipped with these ultra modern equipments that will assist them in discharging their duties and obligations effectively and effectively.
