INFLUENCE OF SOCIO-CULTURAL FACTORS ON SEXUAL AND REPRODUCTIVE HEALTH BEHAVIOURS OF IN – SCHOOL ADOLESCENTS IN ANAMBRA STATE .Abstract
The observable in-school adolescents’ high rate of involvement in sexual and reproductive risk behaviours necessitated this study. The study sought to investigate the influence of socio-cultural factors on the sexual and reproductive health behaviours of in-school adolescents in Anambra State. Twelve research questions and twelve hypotheses, tested at p < 05, guided the study.

The ExpostFacto research design was used. The research was carried out in Anambra State. A sample of 2,287
was drawn through multistage sampling technique. Ten- item Adolescent Sexual Behaviour Inventory (ASBI , ten-item Adolescent Reproductive Health Behaviour Inventory (ARHBI), thirty-item Parenting Style Questionnaire (PSQ) and sixteen-item Parent-Adolescent Communication Inventory (PACI were used for data collection.
